In the name of "love"

“Love” where are you lost?
Where is the true feeling that you were made of?
All but a mere excuse today,
A shadow of the life you once were.

Spoken of with the greatest pride,
Shining bright in the eyes of a new bride,
Smiling in the flowers of care
or now, are you but despair?

Like all things are touched by time,
Do you bear a scar that could have been mine?
Are you but lost like all humans?
Identity gone, overrated & common

Would you care to find yourself,
Somewhere you must carry your own truth,
Or are you but a simple lie?
That lasted forever and will someday die

In the name of “Love”
That is lost , never found.
Undiscovered perhaps,it will come,
Love, are you real or is this but an illusion?
